Brandon Routh brought the Superman character back to life on the big screen. Some people didn't like the movie because Brandon Routh wasn't Christopher Reeves. There was only one Christopher Reeves, and he isn't alive anymore. Brandon gave a performance in Superman Returns that is only shadowed by Christopher Reeves. After the release of The Man of Steel people will want a return to the Superman Returns story, and the costume worn traditionally by Superman.
This picture should remind everyone that we did have someone who can play Superman.

Next to The great Christopher Reeves I think Brandon Routh made a great superman and I would've like to see him in this new movie.great pics by the way

I know I mean when I heard they was making a new superman movie I thought they was going to use Brandon Routh but then I heard they choose another guy I didn't like it.

I like Brandon as Superman and I like also Henrry Cavill, but I can`t say nothing more until I see the new movie.

The changes to the Superman suit will be blamed on the man in the suit, but all he has done is to play a part in a movie. Why do they want to change the image of Superheroes. The new 52 has taken away all the familar images on comic books. It would have been better if they went both ways. Do some comics in the new 52 style and leave some as they were. Then the people who buy comics could decide which they like the best.

one with Tom welling from Smallville and in the same suit and pose?
i am trying to compete mysmallville dvd project and it would finish
perfectly if it had a pose of tom welling i thesuperman suit.

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of Brandon Routh, but in this case, you really made him TRULY Superman worthy! :-)

p.s. If my statement on Mr. Routh offended you, I apologize. :-(

Thanks, I love Brandonīs work in SR, but I think like you, that Singer should try to make him look better and more powerful
